Customizing the overview: tiles, order, bank accounts

The dashboard is built from tiles that can be shown, hidden, and rearranged individually - including bank account balances and recent account activity.

The dashboard is a kit

The start page Overview is not a fixed layout but a collection of tiles. Via Customize (top right, next to the quick actions) you decide which tiles appear and in what order:

Clicking Customize opens the list of all tiles: the checkbox shows or hides one, the arrows change the order, Reset restores the default. The setting is stored on the device - like theme and language. Your desk machine and your laptop may look different on purpose.

Example: bank view first

A firm that starts its morning with the accounts arranges it like this:

  1. Move Bank accounts & balances to the very top - every account is a tile, the escrow account carries its purple marker, and the operating-accounts total sits next to them.
  2. Switch on Recent account activity - the latest transactions show at a glance what was matched (invoice number as a green link), what is an internal transfer, and what is still open.
  3. Push the invoice lists further down.

Clicking an account tile jumps straight to the Payments page with that account preselected.

What the bank tiles show

The Bank accounts & balances tile shows, per account, the balance last fetched from the bank with its as-of date, filtered to the active company. Escrow accounts are marked and stay out of the operating-accounts total - client money is not company money (see the bank accounts article).

Recent account activity is the Payments page in miniature: date, sender, payment reference, and amount of the latest bookings, including the automatic invoice matching.

Both bank tiles require administrator rights; operators do not see them.

For new features

When a new tile ships, it appears automatically with its default setting in the Customize list - your saved arrangement is preserved.
